Edited.
The easiest way to enter your boat on the chart is through Pacotool:

http://www.pacotool.fr/

On the Home page, 'Submit' your Boat Name beside Vendee Globe 2012 then click on the ZEZO link hyperlink on the left hand side of the next page. Your boat will appear on Sailing Simulator chart. You need to 'Set a destination' by right clicking on the chart at your chosen destination.

This will not work on Chrome if you have the translation option chosen.

Hi Cvetan,

Do you think you will have time to update SS to the level were it was at the completion of VORG?

I'm really missing some of the great additions you did during VORG.

Thank you as always,
Dana

Hi I am a new user
is there anyone who speaks French?
I do not understand toogle tracks (red, blue and green) on the new chart VDG2012
how we use it
where can I find a manual

The new track tool shows 3 lines (toggle to turn tracks on/off)

- Blue is great circle/orthodromy
- Red is loxodromy - sail with fixed heading. Difference with the blue one is well visible in the high latitudes.
- Green is fixed wind angle (TWA)

In the status bar DST is distance/direction from boat to cursor and DTF is from cursor to target.

Hi and very good job.

Is it possible to add the possibility to change the reference time, because a big part of the flaot is french and the time in Virtual Regatta is one hour decay from UTC.

Thank very much.

I just got back from my work and I'll look at it with interest.
My boat is "PointdeVue" in VDG2012

Merci et bon vent!
