Can someone please help me with this.
So far I never used waypoints. You may think I don`t trust them.

My question. Can you make change of dirrection inside of one step of refreshing?
To be more specific. You start in one dirrection and you let the boat go in that dirrection for 5 minutes, then you set change of dirrection and the rest of that 10 minutes step you go in another dirrection.

I think I saw that move at some players, but I am not shure about that.
Thanks

I don't trust them either, and therefore also rarely use them. However, according to the help section for Virtual regatta the boat should continue in the other direction:

"If a waypoint is positioned so that your boat reaches it mid-cycle the boat will change course mid-cycle and continue towards the next waypoint immediately. So, there is no loss in distance when using waypoints."

You can read more here:

Dear paradolf,

Waypoints were very important for me in the Sodebo, as the level of accuracy required to round the Isle of Guadeloupe could only be attained by properly using waypoints.

I can assure that the boat changes heading as explained by the Help section of VR, provided that the waypoint is placed in time. In this respect, it is quite similar to heading programmes, which also have to be set to any (really any) time in the future of the cycle for them to work as intended.
