Last virtual Fastnet was based on Volvo Open 65 polars, this time they say it will be Class 40.

I'll add race support at least a week before the start.

Hmm it's not the same "Class 40" as used in the Normandy Channel Race. I've added the current polars.

p.s. I'll be taking a 10-day break, but will probably be back before the race start.

It appears that the polars are still based on Volvo Open 65 ? When the correct polars will be available ?

What I have seen is:

If the wind speed is no more than 7 knots, there is only one sail (the Spi), and the polar is incorrect.

If the wind speed is 8 knots, there are only two sails, but the polars are correct.

If the wind in no less than 9 knots, there is evidence that all sails and polars are correct.

They had the obviously wrong Spi polars two hours before the start. Seems to have fixed it at some later point but I was outside doing some mountain biking ;-)

Should be in sync now.
