I have noticed that the routing currently has me following a straight line east in line with the north shore of Auckland. I assume this is part of the way to stop the routing having you finish on the wrong side of auckland. I assume with the instability of the current forecast there is only a 50% chance of the more southern route ending up being the one to take but could be an issue later on. (more for the leaders than me as im doing so badly but oh well). Just thought i'd let everyone know before following zezo blindly :)

Yes, there is a routing waypoint that prevents approach to Auckland from the West side of the peninsula.

You can avoid the limit by checking "Ignore gates" it the right mouse menu and placing the destination point around Cape Reinga if needed.

I modified the gate definition to work in W-E direction instead of N-S. Should fix the routing, but may still fail in some cases, so keep an eye on it just in case.
