Cards carry over multiple record attempts in certain type of race (currently the Atlantic Challenge), so it's possible to start and sail for a week or two with the sole purpose of collecting cards.

There is a list of the available races on the home page. The extension is also supposed to know about the available races, but needs a restart to see the new ones.

Try right clicking and selecting go to Porto Cervo or Palermo. I think it defaults to go to the finish, Monaco which is where you are, and it seems to be ignoring gates even with the setting for that off.

Make sure it has the same boat options set as you are using too to optimize for that combination.
