A teammate, Bas aka Klauwhamer, found that turning the compass 3 or more times (1080+ degrees), in one go, clockwise or anti-clockwise, activates some kind of diagnostics page. Who knows what it is, can it be used in someway, e.g. to warp a few miles ahead of the fleet, ....?
