All in red because bad meteo forecast or a problem ?

The color scale is is calibrated for Ultim and last years time (about 140 hours)

The maxi will be more like 150.

Ok thanks

So if I well understand :
there were a good time to start the 4.5 00h00 (UTC) with the forecast of 29.04 06oz but no forecast more recent confirmed that ?

Are there same problems than for LA->Honololu ?

At the moment there are some problems on VR with sails, and seing skippers (I don't see anymore YOUR MOM)...

The reason you can't see me is because I haven't started (nor registered) yet. I'll probably go eventually. Not sure yet when.

Hi YourMomSA, it was on the transat but only a few minutes.
Are the same "buggs" of distances and time for this race than for LA -> Honololu ?
Post by iconPost by YourMomSA | 2020-05-02 | 16:14:00
I haven't witnessed those bugs in any events.

Hi all
The only referenced record I found for Honolulu to Yokohama, was done by Steeve FOSSETT in August 1995 on LAKOTA
(ex ORMA 60, PIERRE 1er - Florence ARTHAUD)
3750 nm in 13d 20h 9m 22s (AvgSpeed = 11.29 kts)

Should we start an attempt to see the times already achieved and those in progress ? If not how to do ? Thanks

No one has completed a run yet, so no information is available. It will be about 5 days before the first boat finishes, then you will have a reference time.

A lot of >200 numbers still in the predicted times chart... Did last year have atypically fast conditions, or is the idea that the winning time should be in the 150-160 hour range actually unlikely? I have no idea what conditions are "normal" for this time of year in that part of the world.

Here you go. https://www.kp44.org/ftp/PilotCharts/North%20Pacific/05nppc1995.pdf

Cvetan posted a link to the pilot charts a few days ago and I've been in heaven ever since.

hello Folks
Am I the only one to have an issue with the router this morning ?
The winds are the same but the routing says TWA -125 with headwind...

OK, solve... I don't know why, I used the forecast 20200601 0600Z...
