Hello Cvetan,

First of all thank you for your great job ! I was part of Maxsea adventure at the early begining 25 years ago and It is a lot of fun for me to play again with the isochrones.

Anyway it seems to me there a little problem with the VOR Leg 2 course: the entry of the Gulf of Oman is not taking in count and the course goes straight to Arabia!

Is that problem only for me or is it for everybody ?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

JLL

The router is a bit naïve. It shows the track to the point closest to the destination, without looking at land masses, gates or weather.

It only notices things when they are within 7 days of forecast. You have to give it a bit of help by selecting custom destination point based on common wisdom, strategy and gut sense.

In the current conditions the routing is dominated by the weathers systems about 5 days ahead, and even placing the destination well East will not change the track up to that point
