It looks like they have changed the penalty.
This morning my first gybe was 75 s penalty and the two others after 9am were 120s penalty.
Any confirmation on your side ?

The Chrome extension shows everything.

The polars still state 75/300.

I was surprised the first time and checked carefully for the second with the dashboard.
I lost around .42nm at 25knots speed.
I have another gybe to do in two hours and will tell you the results.
Happy new year !!

My last gybe is back to 75s penalty.
Same for the sail change.
Nothing to worry so.

if you gybe two times within the penalty period, the seconds may add up

It was only one gybe for the period the other gybes were 1h later each.

Another gybe a few minutes ago gave a penalty of .36nm for a speed of 26,5 knts. !!
It is a simple gybe same speed in and out and no sail change.

Unfortunately the "calculated speed" (vC) and the distance traveled between updates (Δd) reported by the dashboard are wrong in case of a tack or gybe, because your boat travels along two sides of a triangle while the dashboard assumes it went in a straight line.
If the tack/gybe happens near either end, the effect may be negligible.
If it happens close to the middle of the cycle the effect is strongest.

(Thinking aloud) As far as I can see the Time column tells us when the gybe happens exactly. We also have the headings, which means the dashboard could compute the actual numbers.

Thanks mak08.
Your explanation is quite clear.
